This policy explains what Nepal Motobiking does with your personal information when you use nepalmotobiking.com or book a trip with us. We are a motorcycle tour operator based in Kathmandu, Nepal.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the route and dates you are interested in, your group size, your riding experience and anything else you write in the message. Our server also records the IP address the enquiry came from, which helps us deal with spam.
When you book we additionally collect your country and the details needed to arrange permits, which for restricted areas includes passport information. Payments are handled on the payment provider’s own pages: we receive a confirmation and a transaction reference, and we never see or store your card number.
Our website sets no advertising cookies. If website analytics are switched on, they record anonymised usage data such as which pages are visited and from which country.
Why we use it
To answer your enquiry, to plan and run your trip, to arrange permits and accommodation, to take payment, and to keep the records a tour operator is required to keep. We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your say-so.
Who else sees it
Only those who need it to run your trip: the guides and crew on your departure, the hotels and guesthouses on your route, the government offices that issue your permits, and our payment provider. Some of these are outside Nepal.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are in contact and for a reasonable period afterwards. Booking and payment records are kept for as long as Nepali tax and business law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it. Write to info@nepalmotobiking.com.
Children
Our trips are not sold to people under 18, and this website is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
