Plans change, and we would rather be straight with you about what it costs. This page forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

If you cancel

Write to us at info@nepalmotobiking.com. The date we receive your email is the date we use.

When you cancel What is refunded
More than 60 days before departure Everything except the deposit
30 to 60 days before departure 50% of the total
15 to 29 days before departure 25% of the total
Less than 15 days before departure No refund

The deposit is not refundable, because it is spent on permits, hotel deposits and holding the crew for your dates. Permit fees already paid to the government cannot be recovered at any stage.

If you leave the trip early

There is no refund for days you do not ride, for any reason. If you leave because of illness or altitude, your insurance is the right place to claim.

If we cancel

If we cancel a departure for a reason of our own, you choose: a full refund, or the same trip on new dates. If a trip cannot run because of weather, landslides, strikes, earthquake, permit refusals or anything else beyond our control, we will offer you new dates or refund whatever we can recover from the hotels, permit offices and crew.

Moving your dates

More than 45 days before departure you may move your trip once at no charge, subject to availability. Inside 45 days we will still try, but costs already committed may have to be covered.

Refunds

Refunds go back the way the money came, within 30 days. Bank charges and card fees are not refundable.

Insurance

Travel insurance is required on every trip. A policy that covers cancellation, motorcycling at altitude and helicopter evacuation is the only thing that covers what this page does not.
